Upcycled TV Console-Not edible, but still Erin's

I have been interested in wood working/upcycling furniture lately. I know, I know, a new hobby, whomp whomp!
Whelp, below is a picture timeline of the steps to create my upcycled TV console.

This is the goal, colors will be different.
Removing the guts of the TV. (Don't let the picture fool you, Sheehan did 90% of the gut removal.)

"Sheehan, get it n the TV."

Late Night Sanding
Priming Take 1.
Primer Coat 1

Primer Coat 2
Rutt Row, I should have listened to Sheehan. He kept telling me, "Erin, this needs to be sanded." I kept saying, it didn't. Well, it did. Had to sand off the primer and the original top coat.

Priming Take 2.
Sheehan did most of the sanding, again.

Sanded, ready to be primed.
Re-Primed after the sandings
Spray painted blue

Lucy's new food

Lucy has had an upset stomach since Friday, today's Sunday. She had loose stools and attempts with no "outcome."
The "medically trained veterinarian" that I am, decided that I am going to make Lucys meals from now on! I think that I can do a better job than some dog food company, that mass produces product, with who knows what in it.

I did some research online and determined the followed.
I found that Ground Turkey, Beef, Pork, Ham, Lamb and Chicken are the best meats. (Kinda Obvious.)
Vegetables; Carrots, Green Beans, Potatoes, Corn... (I need to look into more Veggie options)
For Diarrhea, 1-2 cups white or brown Rice.
Cooked Rolled Oats for fiber (instead of rice.)
Scrambled Egg for protein.
Any flea problems, add Garlic Powder *I need to look into this. I read garlic was bad for dogs...
One Tip I found was to fine chop the veggies because dogs don't break down vegetables as slow as humans, aka they pass them too fast.

Using the above, I created the below recipe.

I Love Lurkey
  • 1lb. Ground Turkey
  • 4 Chicken Livers
  • 5 Large Carrots; peeled, cut and boiled
  • 20-30 Green Beans; cut and boiled
  • 1 cup Brown Rice
Directions: In Sauce Pan brown Turkey and at the same time, in a medium pot boil Livers. In a separate pot; boil Carrots and Green Beans for 10-15 minutes then add Brown Rice to water for 5-10 minutes. In a food processor, Mix Turkey and Livers, pour into bowl. Mix in food processor; Carrots, Green Beans and Rice. Mix all ingredients together.

EXTRA: I added a slice of bacon and 1 tablespoon of bacon grease, leftover from breakfast.

Verdict: Lucy Loved It!
